CPG Map was developed by Jeremy Dickson, the curator of the Forage Grasses Genome Database at the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research, (Aberystwyth, UK) as part of the BBSRC's UK Crop Plant Bioinformatics Network project.
It was developed from an idea of Mazda Hewitt, a former UK CropNet database curator.
Arabidopsis taliana data was taken from AGR and was provided by Sean Walsh. Lolium perenne data was taken from FoggDB.
