AceBrowser Enhancements
The main way in which we provide access to our databases is by using the AceBrowser interface. AceBrowser is freely available as a selection of various scripts that use AcePerl to retrieve information from an ACEDB database and then display that information in a suitable format.

Because AceBrowser was developed with an emphasis on C. elegans genomics data (e.g. see the WormBase site), it is not always perfectly suited to certain types of data, and furthermore some displays do not always show data in the way in which a user might prefer. To compensate for this we (UK CropNet) have developed a series of modifications (some small, some more substantial) to enhance the look, feel, and operability of AceBrowser. In some cases, completely new displays have been designed.

These new displays, and assorted modifications are available to download from this page. The following table provides more information about each display, and also provides an example of each display. These displays can be freely used for non-profit use, but we would appreciate an acknowledgement.
